Mulled Rose Recipe

The ingredient of Mulled Rose Recipe

  • 1 orange halved
  • 750ml bottle rosu00e9 wine
  • 1 1 2 cups 375ml clear apple juice
  • 1 4 cup 55g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks or quills
  • 3 whole star anise
  • 1 2 cup 125ml cherry brandy or grand marnier
  • 1 small pink lady apple very thinly sliced

The Instruction of mulled rose recipe

  • use a vegetable peeler to peel 4 strips of rind from 1 orange half avoiding white pith then juice the half chop the remaining orange half
  • place orange rind orange juice and chopped orange in a saucepan add wine apple juice sugar vanilla cloves cinnamon and star anise place over medium heat and bring to a simmer reduce heat to low cook for 5 mins or until aromatic remove from heat
  • add brandy or grand marnier and apple and stir to combine divide among serving glasses serve immediately
