The ingredient of Turkey Burgers With Coleslaw
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small brown onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 500g ingham turkey mince
- 1 2 cup wholemeal fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 2 cup grated low fat cheddar cheese
- 8 wholegrain dinner rolls split toasted
- extra barbecue sauce to serve
- 1 4 250g savoy cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot peeled grated
- 1 2 small red capsicum thinly sliced
- 3 4 cup low fat plain greek style yoghurt
The Instruction of turkey burgers with coleslaw
- preheat oven to 180u00b0c 160u00b0c fan forced heat half the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat add onion and garlic cook stirring for 4 minutes or until softened transfer mixture to a bowl wipe pan clean with paper towel set onion mixture aside to cool for 10 minutes
- combine turkey mince breadcrumbs barbecue sauce paprika and onion mixture in a large bowl season with salt and pepper divide mixture into eight 2cm thick patties
- heat remaining oil in pan over medium heat cook patties for 3 minutes each side or until browned transfer to a baking tray bake patties for 5 minutes or until almost cooked through sprinkle patties evenly with cheese bake for a further 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese has melted and patties are cooked through cover with foil stand for 5 minutes
- meanwhile make coleslaw combine cabbage carrot and capsicum in a large bowl add yoghurt season with salt and pepper toss to combine
- place roll bases on plates top with coleslaw patties and extra barbecue sauce top with roll tops serve
