Saffron Rice


Aromatic saffron rice is the traditional accompaniment to spicy Indian curries.

The ingredient of Saffron Rice

  • 3 cups basmati rice
  • pinch of saffron threads
  • fresh coriander leaves to serve

The Instruction of saffron rice

  • place rice and 4 cups cold water in a medium heavy based saucepan over high heat add saffron stir to combine cover bring to the boil reduce heat to low simmer for 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed
  • fluff rice with a fork set aside partially covered for 5 minutes serve sprinkled with coriander
