Cherry And Berry Slushies


If you do like to be beside the seaside, make these fruity low-fat slushies and take them with you for a day of fun in the sun.

The ingredient of Cherry And Berry Slushies

  • 185ml 3 4 cup water
  • 75g 1 3 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 300g pitted fresh cherries or thawed frozen cherries
  • 250g 1 punnet strawberries washed hulled

The Instruction of cherry and berry slushies

  • combine the water sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan and stir over low heat for 1 minute or until the sugar dissolves see microwave tip

  • break the mixture up with a spoon and place in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth pour into four 250ml 1 cup plastic freezer proof cups cover with foil and place in the freezer overnight microwave tip place the water sugar and lemon juice in a 500ml 2 cup heatproof microwave safe jug or bowl cook on high 800watts 100 for 1 minute stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves
