Kofta With Tabbouleh


These lamb koftas are delicious and simple to make.

The ingredient of Kofta With Tabbouleh

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 2 red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp mint chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 long red chilli finely chopped
  • 1 2 lemon zest finely grated
  • 1 2 cup couscous
  • 1 2 cup boiling water
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 2 bunch parsley leaves
  • 1 2 bunch mint leaves
  • 1 2 red onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 2 lemon juiced

The Instruction of kofta with tabbouleh

  • in a large bowl combine mince onion parsley and mint egg cumin garlic chilli and lemon zest roll into about eight small sausage shaped about 10cm long mould around skewers and chill for 10 mins
  • meanwhile to make tabbouleh combine couscous and boiling water in a bowl set aside covered for 5 mins fluff up grains using a fork add tomatoes parsley mint onion olive oil and lemon juice toss well
  • heat oil in a large frying pan on high cook kebabs in two batches for 6 8 mins turning occasionally until cooked through serve on tabbouleh
