Give hommus a makeover with this citrus twist.
The ingredient of Orange Hommus
- 2 x 420g cans chickpeas drained
- 1 2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 large oranges rind finely grated juiced
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 3 bunches asparagus trimmed
- savoury biscuits to serve
The Instruction of orange hommus
- place chickpeas oil rind 1 2 cup of juice garlic cumin cayenne pepper and tahini into a food processor process until smooth taste and season with salt and pepper place into an airtight container refrigerate until required
- half fill a frying pan with water bring to the boil over high heat add asparagus cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until bright green and just tender drain refresh under cold water refrigerate in an airtight container
- at picnic serve hommus with asparagus and savoury biscuits
