Stuffed with three Snicker chocolate bars, almond nougat, peanut butter and chewy toffee, this no-bake wreath has to be the ultimate Christmas dessert.
The ingredient of Snickers Wreath Recipe
- 600g milk chocolate chopped
- 90g 1 3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3 x 135g packets wertheru2019s original chewy toffees
- 60ml 1 4 cup thickened cream
- 110g 2 3 cup roasted unsalted peanuts plus extra to decorate see note
- 500g almond nougat pieces see note
- 180g dark chocolate chopped
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 3 x 50g snickers chocolate bars sliced
The Instruction of snickers wreath recipe
- grease a 20cm ring pan with melted butter line the base and side including the inner ring with baking paper place in the freezer to chill
- place 400g milk chocolate and 70g 1 4 cup peanut butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water make sure the bowl doesnu2019t touch the water use a metal spoon to stir until the chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth set aside for 15 minutes to cool
- pour the chocolate mixture into prepared pan use the back of a spoon to spread the mixture over the base and outer and inner sides of pan place in the freezer for 10 minutes repeat this process about 3 more times until you get an even layer over the sides of the outer and inner rings the mixture on the base will be slightly thicker place in the freezer until required
- place the toffees and cream in a saucepan over medium heat cook stirring for 4 5 minutes or until the toffees have melted and the mixture is smooth stir in the peanuts set aside for 15 20 minutes to cool slightly
- pour the toffee mixture into the pan return to the freezer for 20 30 minutes or until just set
- place the nougat in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute or until nougat starts to soften roll the nougat between 2 sheets of baking paper into a 1 5cm thick 19 20cm round use an oiled 7cm round cookie cutter to cut a round from the centre of nougat round place the nougat ring over the toffee layer in the pan place in the fridge until required
- place the remaining milk chocolate and peanut butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water make sure the bowl doesnu2019t touch the water use a metal spoon to stir until smooth set aside for 15 minutes to cool pour the chocolate mixture over the nougat layer in the pan cover and place in the fridge overnight
- use a flat bladed knife to carefully loosen the wreath from the pan and turn onto a serving plate
- place the dark chocolate and oil in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water make sure the bowl doesnu2019t touch the water use a metal spoon to stir until smooth drizzle the dark chocolate over the wreath decorate with snickers slices and extra peanuts set aside for 15 minutes before slicing to serve
