Feel the restorative properties of this herb tea during hot summer days.
The ingredient of Chilled Sage And Herb Tea
- 1 3 cup chopped fresh sage or 2 tbsp dried sage
- 2 tbsp fennel seeds lightly crushed
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint or 1 tsp dried mint tea leaves
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
- 1 25l 5 cups boiling water
- honey to taste
- ice cubes to serve
- mint leaves extra to serve
The Instruction of chilled sage and herb tea
- place the sage fennel seeds mint and lemon rind in a large teapot or plunger add the boiling water and cover with a lid set aside for 15 minutes to infuse
- strain into a jug and stir in honey to taste cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour to chill
- place ice cubes and a few mint leaves in serving glasses and pour over the chilled tea to serve
