Chilled Sage And Herb Tea

The ingredient of Chilled Sage And Herb Tea

  • 1 3 cup chopped fresh sage or 2 tbsp dried sage
  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds lightly crushed
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint or 1 tsp dried mint tea leaves
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
  • 1 25l 5 cups boiling water
  • honey to taste
  • ice cubes to serve
  • mint leaves extra to serve

The Instruction of chilled sage and herb tea

  • place the sage fennel seeds mint and lemon rind in a large teapot or plunger add the boiling water and cover with a lid set aside for 15 minutes to infuse
  • strain into a jug and stir in honey to taste cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour to chill
  • place ice cubes and a few mint leaves in serving glasses and pour over the chilled tea to serve
