Very Cherry Cocktail

Fruity wine and tart cherries make this a deliciously wicked winter drink.

The ingredient of Very Cherry Cocktail

• 300g morello cherries drained
• 750ml btl fruity white wine such as riesling
• 2 tbsp caster sugar
• 2 whole star anise see note
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 310ml 1 1 4 cups cherry brandy

The Instruction of very cherry cocktail

• cook cherries wine sugar star anise and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat until just before boiling set aside for 30 minutes
• use a potato masher to crush the cherries strain into a saucepan add brandy cook over medium heat until just before boiling pour into heatproof glasses
