Apple Fritter Bread Recipe


All the flavour of an apple fritter but in a loaf form. Use canned apples to make life easier and dont forget to drizzle that icing!

The ingredient of Apple Fritter Bread Recipe

  • 300g 2 cups self raising flour
  • 125g butter softened
  • 1 2 cup raw caster sugar
  • 200ml thickened cream
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 2 x 400g can pie apples
  • 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
  • 150g 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 2 tbsp milk

The Instruction of apple fritter bread recipe

  • preheat oven to 190c 170c fan forced grease and line a 20cm x 10cm base measurement loaf pan with baking paper allowing paper to overhang on all sides
  • place flour in a large bowl using fingertips rub in butter add 1 4 cup caster sugar the cream and egg using a flat bladed knife and in a cutting motion mix ingredients together to form a wet dough
  • combine apple cinnamon and remaining caster sugar in a separate bowl fold into the dough until just combined
  • spoon mixture into prepared pan bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until golden cool in pan for 10 minutes transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
  • combine icing sugar vanilla and milk in a bowl drizzle icing over cake set aside to set serve
