The ingredient of Braised Peas With Bacon And Lettuce

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 175g bacon sliced into batons
  • 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 4 spring onions thinly sliced
  • 600g coles brand australian frozen peas
  • 1 4 cup 60ml white wine
  • 1 2 cup 125ml chicken stock
  • 20g butter
  • 3 cups shredded butter lettuce
  • flat leaf parsley sprigs to serve

The Instruction of braised peas with bacon and lettuce

  • heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat cook bacon for 5 mins or until golden and crisp add garlic and onions cook for 2 mins
  • add peas wine stock and butter simmer for 3 mins or until the liquid has reduced slightly add lettuce and cook for a further 2 mins or until wilted season with salt and pepper top with parsley and serve as a side for a roast
