Balsamic Onions


Sweet caramelised onions are delicious as an accompaniment to any main meal.

The ingredient of Balsamic Onions

  • 150ml olive oil
  • 450g red onions peeled sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 20ml 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

The Instruction of balsamic onions

  • heat oil over low heat add onions and cook very slowly stirring occasionally for 30 minutes
  • add sugar and allow to caramelise slightly add vinegar and cook for a further 10 minutes or until thick
