Cheesy Asparagus Puffs


Easy, cheesy puff pastry snacks all wrapped up make for quick, melt-in-your-mouth finger food.

The ingredient of Cheesy Asparagus Puffs

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry just thawed
  • 2 slices prosciutto
  • 80g double brie cut into 4 slices
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1 bunch baby asparagus or regular asparagus halved crossways
  • 1 egg lightly whisked
  • sesame seeds black white to sprinkle

The Instruction of cheesy asparagus puffs

  • preheat oven to 220c 200c fan forced line a baking tray with baking paper cut the pastry into quarters to make 4 squares
  • tear each prosciutto slice in half and place on a clean surface top each with 1 brie slice in the centre a few asparagus spears and a thyme sprig wrap the prosciutto around the filling place each 1 diagonally in the centre of the pastry squares fold the 2 opposite pastry corners into the centre and brushing with egg press to secure brush pastry with egg
  • sprinkle with sesame seeds then transfer to prepared tray bake for 12 15 minutes or until puffed and golden serve
