Impress your guests with this classic chocolate mud cake.
The ingredient of Chocolate Mud Cake
- 200g dark chocolate chopped
- 250g unsalted butter chopped
- 1 tbsp instant coffee
- 100ml milk
- 1 2 3 cups 250g self raising flour
- 40g nestlu00c9 bakers choice cocoa
- 250g caster sugar
- 4 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 150ml sour cream
- 150g milk chocolate chopped
- 150g dark chocolate
- 1 2 cup 125ml thickened cream
- 50g unsalted butter
The Instruction of chocolate mud cake
- preheat oven to 160c grease a deep 23cm springform cake pan and line with baking paper
- place the chocolate butter coffee and milk in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water dont let the bowl touch the water and stir until smooth and melted remove from the heat and set aside to cool completely
- sift flour and cocoa powder into a bowl then add sugar fold into the chocolate mixture with eggs vanilla extract and sour cream
- pour the batter into the cake pan and bake in the oven for 60 70 minutes until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out with some moist crumbs sticking to it but no raw cake batter set aside to cool completely in the pan
- for the ganache place all ingredients in a small heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water donu2019t let the bowl touch the water and stir until smooth and melted cool slightly
- remove the cooled cake from the pan and spread with the ganache then serve
