  • 24 walnut halves
  • 1 3 cup maple syrup
  • 250g philadelphia original spreadable cream cheese
  • 120g blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 24 mini savoury tartlet cases
  • chopped chives extra

  • toss walnut halves in the maple syrup place on a paper lined baking tray bake in a moderate oven 180c for 5 8 minutes or until toasted
  • combine the cream cheese blue cheese and chives in a food processor and process until smooth chill
  • pipe or spoon the cream cheese mixture into the tartlet cases top with a sprinkle of extra chives and a walnut half serve immediately
