The ingredient of Savoury Bread And Butter Pudding

  • 1 3 cup prepared mild salsa
  • 1 bread stick cut into 1cm slices or split turkish bread cut into chunks
  • 1 cup mixed antipasto vegetables chopped
  • 90g feta cheese crumbled
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • roasted truss cherry tomatoes to serve

The Instruction of savoury bread and butter pudding

  • preheat oven to moderate 180c
  • spread sauce evenly over one side of each piece of bread arrange half the slices sauce side up in 4 individual or 1 large casserole dish
  • in a bowl whisk eggs and milk together and season to taste pour half the mixture over the bread pressing down gently with fingertips top with remaining slices of bread sauce side down pour over remaining egg mixture pressing down to ensure all bread is well soaked in the mixture
  • sprinkle evenly with antipasto vegetables and feta
  • sprinkle with parmesan place dish in a baking pan add enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the dish bake for 15 20 mins 35 40 mins if large serve with roasted truss cherry tomatoes
