Stuffed Turkey Breast


This stuffed turkey breast recipe is ideal for family members who have a food intolerance or prefer their Christmas meal gluten-free.

The ingredient of Stuffed Turkey Breast

  • 50g coles butter
  • 1 tbsp coles pure olive oil plus extra to drizzle
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 150g bacon diced
  • 1 1 2 cup gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1kg coles frozen turkey breast roll thawed
  • 2kg potatoes peeled chopped
  • 1kg pumpkin peeled chopped
  • 400g steamed green beans to serve

The Instruction of stuffed turkey breast

  • preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan in a frypan melt butter and olive oil over medium heat and cook onion and garlic for 5 6 mins or until soft add bacon and cook for a further 5 mins remove from heat and place in a large bowl cool slightly add breadcrumbs and herbs and season
  • lay out turkey breast skin side down and lay stuffing mix down the centre lengthways roll over breast to enclose tie with kitchen string to secure
  • place bound turkey in a baking tray with potatoes and pumpkin drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper roast for 1 hr or until cooked through serve with roasted vegetables steamed green beans and red wine gravy
