For a foolproof recipe you cant go past this super easy lamb hot-pot.
The ingredient of Lamb And Vegetable Hot Pot
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 6 1 2kg lamb forequarter chops
- 2 1 2 tbsp olive oil
- 600g mixed vegetables
- 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
- 1 litre massel beef stock
The Instruction of lamb and vegetable hot pot
- place flour and chops in a snap lock bag seal shake until chops are coated heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large heavy based flameproof casserole dish over medium heat remove onion from vegetable mixture add onion garlic and rosemary to dish cook stirring for 3 to minutes or until onion is tender transfer to a bowl
- increase heat to high add 1 tablespoon oil add half the chops cook for 2 minutes each side or until browned transfer to a plate repeat with remaining oil and chops
- layer 3 chops and half the vegetable mixture and onion mixture in dish repeat layers with remaining chops vegetable mixture and onion mixture pour over stock and 1 cup cold water bring to the boil reduce heat to low cover simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes skimming off fat when necessary season with pepper serve
