Warm Spiced Whisky Cider


This spicy cider will warm you up from the inside out this winter.

The ingredient of Warm Spiced Whisky Cider

  • 750ml 3 cups sparkling apple juice
  • 2 x 7cm cinnamon sticks broken in half see note
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 185ml 3 4 cup macquarrie pure malt scotch whisky
  • 4 x 7cm cinnamon sticks optional extra to decorate

The Instruction of warm spiced whisky cider

  • combine the sparkling apple juice cinnamon sticks cloves and sugar in a medium saucepan stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves increase heat to high bring to the boil cover set aside for 5 minutes to develop the flavours stir in whisky
  • strain the mixture into a heatproof jug discard the cinnamon and cloves divide the whisky cider among serving glasses add a cinnamon stick stirrer to each glass to decorate if desired
