Lime Chilli Kumara Chips


Once you start, you wont stop munching on these crunchy sweet ptoato chips.

The ingredient of Lime Chilli Kumara Chips

  • rice bran oil to deep fry
  • 2 small 195g each orange sweet potatoes kumara peeled lengthways into ribbons
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
  • 1 tsp finely grated lime rind
  • large pinch of chilli powder

The Instruction of lime chilli kumara chips

  • add enough oil to a large saucepan to reach a depth of 2cm heat to 180u00b0c over high heat when oil is ready a cube of bread will turn golden brown in 15 seconds
  • add one sixth of kumara and deep fry for 1 2 minutes or until crisp transfer to a plate lined with paper towel repeat in 5 more batches with remaining kumara
  • combine salt lime rind and chilli powder in a bowl sprinkle kumara with salt mixture
