The ingredient of Lime Chilli Kumara Chips
- rice bran oil to deep fry
- 2 small 195g each orange sweet potatoes kumara peeled lengthways into ribbons
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- 1 tsp finely grated lime rind
- large pinch of chilli powder
The Instruction of lime chilli kumara chips
- add enough oil to a large saucepan to reach a depth of 2cm heat to 180u00b0c over high heat when oil is ready a cube of bread will turn golden brown in 15 seconds
- add one sixth of kumara and deep fry for 1 2 minutes or until crisp transfer to a plate lined with paper towel repeat in 5 more batches with remaining kumara
- combine salt lime rind and chilli powder in a bowl sprinkle kumara with salt mixture
