  • 2 sheets puff pastry just thawed
  • 100g dulche de leche caramel sauce squeezy
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 14 squares milk chocolate block
  • 1 egg lightly beaten

  • preheat oven to 220c lightly grease a baking tray and line with baking paper
  • fold 1 sheet of puff pastry in half use a rolling pin to roll out slightly until it will easily cover a 14 hole ice cube tray cut remaining sheet of pastry in half lengthways reserve 1 half for another use
  • lay rolled pastry over the ice cube tray and gently press pastry into each hole ensuring pastry does not tear
  • cut the banana into 14 x 0 5cm thick slices fill each pastry hole with 1 teaspoon caramel a slice of banana and a piece of chocolate brush pastry edges with egg place pastry piece on top pressing gently to secure trim any excess pastry freeze for 1 hour or until pastry is frozen
  • release pastry parcel from the ice cube tray and place flat side down on the prepared tray brush with remaining egg bake for 22 25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden serve immediately
