Jaff Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe


Infused with that irresistible combo of chocolate and orange, this jaffa-bejeweled cake is sure to impress your guests. Its the adult version of a smarties cake. Deep, dark, delicious.

The ingredient of Jaff Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

  • 250g packet plain chocolate biscuits broken into pieces
  • 1 tsp finely grated orange rind
  • 125g butter melted plus extra to grease
  • 200g dark cooking chocolate finely chopped
  • 2 x 250g pkts cream cheese at room temperature
  • 300g carton sour cream
  • 155g 3 4 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder sifted
  • 3 eggs
  • 340g packet jaffas to decorate
  • 100g dark cooking chocolate finely chopped
  • 125ml 1 2 cup thickened cream

The Instruction of jaff chocolate cheesecake recipe

  • invert the base of a 22cm springform pan grease and line the base with baking paper secure back in the pan
  • place the biscuits and orange rind in a food processor and process until finely crushed add the butter process until well combined transfer the mixture to the prepared pan use a straight sided glass press mixture firmly over the base and side of the pan leaving the top 2cm of the pan free cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill
  • preheat oven to 160u00b0c 140u00b0c fan forced place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl microwave on medium stirring every minute for 3 5 minutes or until melted
  • place the cream cheese sour cream and sugar in a clean food processor process until smooth and well combined add the cocoa and eggs and process until well combined with the motor running gradually add the melted chocolate and process until well combined
  • pour the mixture into the biscuit crust and smooth the surface bake for 1 hour or until just set in the centre turn the oven off and leave in the oven with the door ajar for 2 hours or until cooled completely this will prevent the cheesecake from cracking cover and place in the fridge for 4 hours to cool completely
  • to make the chocolate ganache place the chocolate and cream in a microwave safe bowl microwave on high stirring every minute for 3 5 minutes or until melted
  • pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cheesecake smooth the surface place in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up slightly decorate the top with jaffas
