Caramelised Roast Parsnips


These delicious caramelised roast parsnips make a delicious side to your Sunday night roast.

The ingredient of Caramelised Roast Parsnips

  • 1 bunch dutch carrots
  • 40g butter
  • 1 1 2 tbsp coles brand honey
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp rosemary leaves optional
  • 4 medium parsnips

The Instruction of caramelised roast parsnips

  • preheat oven to 190c or 170c fan forced line a large oven tray with baking paper trim the tops from the parsnips and peel shaping the ends to a point quarter lengthways trim the tops from the carrots peel and halve if large
  • stir the butter and honey in a small saucepan over low heat until the butter melts stir in the cumin drizzle over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly arrange in a single layer onto the prepared tray season
  • roast the vegetables turning occasionally for 40 mins or until tender and caramelised sprinkle with rosemary
